Did you buy a GeForce GTX 970 graphics card? Well you could be paid out $30 due to NVIDIA settling a class-action lawsuit because of false advertising.
The graphics card which was advertised at 4GB GDDR5 was soon later discovered to have only 3.5GB of available memory. This made people angry saying NVIDIA wrongly listed the specifications which the company then confirmed it was a miss-communication between the engineering and PR department. This led to multiple law suits which Top Class Actions confirmed that NVIDIA has agreed to pay out $30 to individual GTX 970 buyers. There will be no cap to the total amount NVIDIA will pay out to customers.
There hasn’t been any information on how individuals can claim the $30 yet but I assume NVIDIA will release details on this soon.
