ORDER, the Melbourne-based esports club has announced that it’s giving fans a chance to own their own stake in the brand through an equity crowdfunding campaign. From Tuesday 20th February, gaming fans will be given exclusive first access to the expressions of interest period and will be prioritised over other potential investors when an offer is made. The move will see ORDER become the only esports brand in the world to be primarily fan-owned.

Jake “Spawn” Tiberi, ORDER’s General Manager and OPL caster has said “ORDER exists for esports fans first and foremost which is why we are prioritising the gaming community to be our owners. We are gaming fans ourselves and want to remain authentic and connected to the people who keep the sport alive.”

Gerard Murphy, ORDER’s owner has also mentioned “We’ve been clear from the start that we’re an organisation for the gaming community. We don’t ever want to compromise on this, and what better way than to let gamers become owners of the brand — to have their say and to share in our successes.”

The funds invested will be used to expand the club and build a world class headquarters in Melbourne called The House of ORDER. The House of ORDER will be located in Melbourne’s CBD and will feature three levels and will include offices, studio for events and tournaments plus themed gaming lounges. It will be open to all of the community.
