PAX Australia returns in October, and industry heavyweight Pete Hines (Vice President of PR & Marketing at Bethesda Softworks) will be providing the opening ‘storytime’ keynote on Friday morning.
Pete Hines has been working with Bethesda since 1999, leading the marketing, PR and community efforts. He has played an important role not just in bringing franchises such as The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Wolfenstein into the realm of modern gaming, but also in bringing new IPs like Dishonored and The Evil Within to market. Pete has helped out on every title Bethesda has made over the last decade and a half, performing tasks as far ranging as playtesting games to writing manuals and acting as the companys chief spokesperson.Pete will give PAX Australia it’s start for the year, but other international guests will also be in attendance, including musical acts Paul & Storm, Freezepop, and MC Frontalot.
PAX Australia will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 31 October to 2 November 2014.
