A Pokemon Live-Action movie from Legendary Pictures has been greenlit and will start production late 2017. Confirmed by Deadline, the movie will star Detective Pikachu and will be based on the on the game Great Detective Pikachu which only has been released in Japan.
This will be the 2nd video-game film by Legendary Pictures after recently releasing Warcraft. There’s no confirmed release date yet as well. Check out the game trailer for Great Detective Pikachu below:
