Psyonix has announced the return of the Rocket League Championship Series and Rival Series for 2018, with the format set to remain unchanged from Season 4.

Teams from North America, Europe, and Oceania will be competing for the largest prize pool in Rocket League history, with a $500,000 USD total prize pool for the RLCS and a $50,000 USD total prize pool for the Rival Series headlining this season’s competitions.

Budding Rocket League players in North America and Europe can sign up from January 23 – February 14 to have a crack at getting into the Rivals Series, with four qualifiers in each region set to take place over February and into early March. Teams will be able to compete in up to two of the four qualifiers, with the top 128 teams then earning a place in the Rival Series Play-in.

Teams will then compete for the remaining spots in either the North American or European Rival Series for this season.

As for now OCE contenders will have to wait, as Psyonix says they’ll have additional details on qualifiers and the schedule soon.
