Razer has revealed a brand new Blade Notebook with improved performance and a lighter body.
Featuring an Intel Skylake i7 Quad Core, NVIDIA GTX 970M and PCIe SSD – users will experience better performance in gaming with the new Razer Blade. The weight of the laptop has also been reduced coming in at 4.25 pounds now which is just under 2KGs which is great for portability.
The new Razer Blade has also adopted the signature Chroma keyboard allowing you to customize the RGB backlighting with different colours and effects.
“We are getting much more aggressive as far as price point, but that hasn’t come at a cost to the performance or design of the Razer Blade,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “We’ve improved nearly every aspect of the 14-inch laptop, from CPU and GPU performance to system memory and port selection. Chroma technology unlocks an unprecedented, immersive experience on a gaming laptop.”
Also revealed before, the Razer Blade will feature a Thunderbolt 3 port to utilize the upcoming Razer Core external graphics card enclosure for those wanting more power than the GTX970M.
There’s no local pricing yet but the Razer Blade comes in at $1,999 USD with the 256 GB PCIe SSD or
$2,199 USD with the 512 GB PCIe SSD configuration. It’s expected to ship around April.
