In conjunction with the announcement of the SMITE World Championships 2016, Hi-Rez Studios have announced the SMITE Oceania Pro League, set to kick off from July 25. The winner of the Australia and New Zealand only season will get the chance to compete in the SMITE World Championship in January, with the Oceania finals held during PAX Australia 2015.

The SMITE Oceania Pro League has a total prize pool of $50,000, with matches live streamed every Saturday and Sunday of the season, starting July 25 at 6PM AEST at Pro League Qualifiers have already been held, deciding the eight teams who will compete each weekend, listed below.

There will be more chances for teams to enter the championship through the Open Ladder and Challengers Cup, held in the lead up to PAX Australia.
