Sony PlayStation has revealed a new, slimmer PlayStation 4 coming out on September 15th at their PlayStation meeting event in New York. The new iteration features a smaller form factor cutting the overall size of the console.
The leaks were also true with the removal of an optical port. This slim iteration will be replacing the current standard PS4 line-up.
The new PlayStation 4 will cost $299 USD. We’ll update with an Australian pricing once it’s confirmed.
Update: The Australian pricing for the new PlayStation 4 has been confirmed. The 500GB model will cost $439.95 AUD RRP and the 1TB $509.95 AUD RRP.
