To close out Nintendo’s E3 Digital Event, Super Mario Maker got a whole lot of new announcements, including alternate skins, a special booklet and an amiibo. The game will support alternate skins for playback simply by placing an amiibo figure on the gamepad, allowing an extra level of personalisation for the title.
The game will also come with a special booklet that shows off demo stages and the work of developers from the original Mario titles. The game will launch alongside a special 8bit amiibo to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mario, pictured below.
Super Mario Maker will launch toward the end of 2015 for Wii U.
