Prior to IEM Sydney 2018, Sydney Saints have signed an Australian female CSGO featuring Jessica ‘ARTeMis’ Majrouh, Connie ‘Konii’ Ko, Yukie ‘Raizy’ Su, Liqi ‘Peachy’ Lin and Calise ‘Riv’ Newton. After an impressive qualifier run where they took top seeded position going 3-0, the team went on to defeat Control Esports twice in the finals to win their share of the $10K AUD prize pool.

Chris White, the CEO of Merlin Collective said: “I am incredibly excited to be working with such a talented team. Knowing they have worked so hard to not only establish themselves as the premiere female CS:GO side, but to also gain massive amounts of respect across the industry. It is from this that we have welcomed early support and sponsorship from Boost Mobile and MWAVE”.

Jessica ‘ARTeMis’ Majrouh added, “We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ve signed with the Sydney Saints. This is such a great opportunity to continue our growth and development as the best female side in Australia and hopefully be a role model for those who wish to enter the CS:GO scene. I would like to thank Chris and Merlin Collective for this opportunity as our goals and values have aligned throughout this process. We’re excited for the future because there’s so much more to come.”

Part of the Merlin Collective and Guinevere Capital partnership which includes LG Dire Wolves, Sydney Drop Bears and more part of the portfolio; Sydney Saints will be based out of the Esports High Performance Centre within the SCG precinct in Sydney sharing the same facilities as the Sydney Swans, Sydney Roosters, New South Wales Cricket and Sydney FC.
