Blizzard has announced that Blank Esports has been selected by the community to represent Australia at this year’s Overwatch World Cup. Blank Esports is currently ranked as the number one Australian team and competes in the Overwatch Pacific Championship in Taiwan.

The roster consists of Jason ‘ieatuup’ Ho (DPS/Flex), Ajay ‘Aetar’ Umasankar (DPS), Jordan ‘Gunba’ Graham (Support), Marcus ‘Kiki’ Jacob (Tank), Ashley ‘Trill’ Powell (Tank/Flex) and Andrew ‘rqt’ Haws (Support). The team is also supported by Taiwanese coach Jason ‘SereNity’ Wang.

Team Australia will be up against Sweden, Italy, and Portugal in Group C at the upcoming Overwatch World Cup Group Stage: Sydney taking place at The Star Event Centre in NSW, Australia. The three day event will feature both Group C and D and will take place from July 21st to 23rd, 2017. General tickets for the event is available now on Ticketek.
