Re-Logic and Engine Software have announced Terraria is finally getting the progression it deserves. After a long absence in updates, Re-Logic has joined forces with Engine Software to work on the next progression for the widely popular title.
Terraria: Otherworld is set in an alternate dimension within the universe of Terraria, as Otherworld places the player in a life-and-death struggle to restore a once-pristine world that’s now overrun by malevolent force that has corrupted nature itself.
Otherworld combines elements of the classic Terraria sandbox gameplay with role-playing and strategy elements, culminating in a new and fresh take on the Terraria universe and open world, sandbox genre. There’s no set release date for Terraria: Otherworld yet, with more news set to come in the future. The game will be releasing on PC and Mac with no other platforms confirmed as of yet.
