Welcome to October, the first month of this year’s final quarter which is typically the busiest time of the year for video-game releases. This week, we’ll see the return of 2K’s impressive Mafia series with its third instalment. There’s also the early access of Gears of War 4 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide (Consoles) – Releases on October 4th

Warhammer Vermintide finally gets a console launch this week. Released back in October, 2015 for PC, this multiplayer ‘Left 4 Dead’ish title has scored favourably well and sold over 500,000 copies.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered (PS4 Exclusive) – Releases on October 6th

Pre-ordered Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Deluxe Edition on PlayStation 4? Well you get access to the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign 30-days early! That’s right, experience some ‘Soap McTavish’ action before the rest of the world.

Ride 2 – Releases on October 6th

There’s too many car games out there so for motorbike fans, this might be your week. Developer Milestone has returned with the latest Ride 2 which features over 174 motorcycles available to ride at launch

Mafia 3 – Releases on October 7th

The last Mafia game came out in 2010, so you can say it’s been quite the wait for the next instalment of the series. With Mafia 2 setting the bar high, we can’t wait to see what Hangar 13 has been up to with Mafia 3.

Gears of War 4 Gold Edition – Releases on October 7th

Gears of War 4 Gold Edition gets you access to the game earlier than anyone else. With the official launch on October 11th, Gold Edition owners can play through the campaign and multiplayer this Friday!
