Twitch has announced the launch of IRL or In Real Life if you’re not familiar with internet slang. The new category goes back to its Justin.TV roots allowing the community to share their everyday life.

“Like a vlog, you can now interact with your audience in a one-to-many style, live or recorded, even when not playing a game. This includes sharing experiences and events with viewers live or with pre-recorded videos. Anything and everything you’re interested in can potentially become a topic of a stream.”

Twitch is also launching Mobile Broadcasting next year allowing you to natively stream from the Twitch mobile app. With the rise in Facebook Live streaming, it’s not surprising to see Twitch introducing their own. This means you can stream from your mobile phone whenever you are allowing your audience to follow your adventures.
