YouTube Gaming, Google’s answer to Twitch.TV streaming service has officially announce that it will launch August 26th, 2015 in North America and UK.
The launch will include a new beta version of the streaming dashboard. YouTube Gaming uses HTML5 and features a DVR mode where it allows viewers to rewind up to 4 hours of the stream. A mobile version of YouTube gaming for Android and iOS will also launch tomorrow.
There’s no news on YouTube Gaming’s launch in Australia/New Zealand yet but we’ll update you when we hear more news. YouTube Gaming will present at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2015, we suspect a oceanic release is scheduled around then.
