As we draw a close to an eventful E3, here’s a huge look at one of this year’s most anticipated titles – Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The gameplay demo comes courtesy of IGN, and the developer who narrates throughout quickly confirmed that while there are micro-transactions in Metal Gear Solid V, they’ve been significantly balanced with the game and won’t affect a players experience if they choose not to use them.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is series creator Hideo Kojima’s final Metal Gear game, and while Konami have confirmed they will look to continue the series on, it remains a question as to how they will handle the IP and if it will match the popularity and quality of the Kojima-directed entries.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain launches on September 1st on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
