It’s no surprise that Watch Dogs was one of the most hype game prior to release and Ubisoft has announced the game has sold through more than 4 million copies in it’s first week positioning itself as the best-selling IP in the video game industry. They have also announced the game is Ubisoft’s best selling game ever in week one.
“With such strong sales momentum and positive feedback from gamers, Watch Dogs has positioned itself as the must-have game of the moment” said Geoffroy Sardin, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “We’re really proud of this achievement, and are confident that the Watch Dogs brand has a promising future.”
