Windows 10 gaming has got off to a rocky start but Microsoft has stated they’re working on several fixes to improve the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) in the operating system.

The biggest highlight in this update is the support for unlocked framerates allowing games to push past the 30 fps (frames-per-second) mark. This was the biggest issue with Windows 10 UWP which had everyone scratching their heads as other platforms like Steam didn’t feature an fps cap.

Microsoft has also announced support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD Freesync which allows smarting syncing and refresh rates between the monitor and graphics card. You can also toggle V-sync off now.

Some good improvements here and hopefully we see more coming from Microsoft to push Windows 10 gaming. We just need that multiple GPU support please.
