4K High-End Gaming Monitor

Acer Predator x27 27″ 144Hz 4K UHD G-Sync HDR IPS Gaming Monitor
When it comes to the top of the line, you can’t dismiss the Acer Predator X27 – a flagship gaming monitor which includes everything you want… at a price. Coming in at a whopping $2,499, the Acer Predator X27 is pretty much you get what you pay for, a premium featuring 144Hz 4K on a G-Sync IPS panel suited for those wanting the best out of their overall setup. We tried out this monitor at launch and we couldn’t go past how impressed we are with the performance and definitely recommend this for those wanting to complement their high-end PC.

Other recommendation(s):
ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ 27″ 144Hz 4k UHD HDR G-Sync Gaming Monitor – the ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ is pretty much a carbon copy of the ACER, however, comes at an unreasonably steep price point of $2,999
Esports (Competitive Gaming)

ASUS ROG Strix XG258Q 25″ FHD 240Hz G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor
Whether you’re a career pro player or competitive gamer, you want something with the best performance. Things you should look at are fast refresh rate, motion blur reduction and a competitive sized panel. While many brands have focused on competitive features mentioned above, ASUS currently takes the cake with their ASUS ROG Strix XG258Q. This monitor features a 25″ Full HD panel featuring a fast 240Hz refresh rate and is FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync compatible. The ASUS ROG Strix XG258Q is also priced well within the market against its competitors for the same features coming in at $529 AUD.

Other recommendation(s):
BenQ ZOWIE XL2536 24.5″ FHD 144Hz with DyAc – 144Hz recommended alternative but slightly more expensive with hardware controlled motion blur reduction. $599 AUD.
BenQ ZOWIE XL2546 24.5″ 240Hz 1ms Gaming Monitor with DyAc – This was the 240Hz king for a while. But since then, cheaper alternatives from competitors including motion blur reduction plus better features leave it overpriced and out of our top recommendation. $749 AUD.
Ultrawide Gaming Monitor

BenQ EX3501R 35″ UWQHD 100Hz Curved FreeSync HDR VA LED Gaming Monitor
If you’re looking for an all-rounder gaming monitor that has the features you need for PC gaming as well as day to day PC work, the BenQ EX3501R has to be in our recommendation list. The screen is a beastly curved 35″ 21:9 ratio (3440 x 1440 Resolution) featuring HDR and BenQ’s exclusive Brightness Intelligence technology, the monitor should suit plenty of gamers out there with FreeSync compatibility. While competitive gamers may skip something this big and pricey, the BenQ EX3501R is a perfect fit for those looking at a big screen which caters for both work and gaming. The widescreen allows plenty of space for video editing and creative professionals as well and most of our content personally at Respawn Ninja has been created on this monitor.
