Whether you’re a career pro player or competitive gamer, you want something with the best performance. Things you should look at are fast refresh rate, motion blur reduction and a competitive sized panel. While many brands have focused on competitive features mentioned above, ASUS currently takes the cake with their ASUS ROG Strix XG258Q. This monitor features a 25″ Full HD panel featuring a fast 240Hz refresh rate and is FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync compatible. BenQ ZOWIE XL2546 24.5″ 240Hz 1ms Gaming Monitor with DyAc – This was the 240Hz king for a while. But since then, cheaper alternatives from competitors including motion blur reduction plus better features leave it overpriced and out of our top recommendation. $749 AUD.

If you’re looking for an all-rounder gaming monitor that has the features you need for PC gaming as well as day to day PC work, the BenQ EX3501R has to be in our recommendation list.
